Operation Christmas Child

Working with Samaritan's Purse, Bright Hope Parish collects items year round and then fills shoe boxes with items for children around the world. Additionally, a team travels to the distribution center in Elkridge, MD to check quality and prepare final packaging.

Interfaith Food Bank

Working with other local churches, Bright Hope churches collect non parishable foods on the first Sunday of each month that are taken to the food bank. Additionally, cash donations are provided to the food bank for them to make bulk purchases. The food bank provides a box of food to local families once a month.

Veteran's Leadership Program

We provide items to the Veteran's Leadership program include paper towels, dish detergent, puzzles, and other requested items. Veterans Leadership Program helps provide housing and career development to wellness and supportive services to local veterans.

Mom's House of Johnstown

Mom's House offers single, abused women with unplanned pregnancies a viable, practical alternative to the despair of abortion and the tragedy of welfare. They provide free childcare and counseling to enable moms to get an education or training.

Kid's Club

This children's club meets the second Sunday of the month at Belsano Red Brick church. The program is designed for children ages 5-12 and includes Bible stories, singing praise songs, creating crafts, and a snack.

Vacation Bible School and Camp on the Go

These week long summer programs share the knowledge and love of Jesus to children in our church and community.

JOY (Jesus-Others-You) Dinners

JOY Dinners began to provide free community meals to those in our church and the broader community. Dinners are held at Nanty Glo on Thursdays from 4-6 pm.

Caroling and other Activities for Seniors

Church members travel to local nursing homes to sing hymns with seniors at nursing homes. Provide Christmas gifts to seniors in nursing homes and cups of cookies.
